Photographer: Commission

JOP Arts in partnership with City Arts are excited to announce an opportunity for an LGBTQ+ photographer to work on a new commission for an upcoming LGBTQ+ Arts Festival in Nottingham.

We are seeking a talented and passionate photographer to capture LGBTQ+ Heroes—individuals nominated by the public for their outstanding contributions to the LGBTQ+ community in Nottingham. Portraits taken will be featured in an exhibition at City Arts between October – December 2024, curated by City Arts’ Young Producers.

Assistant Producer

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Producer to support the delivery of Queer Up, Duck!, a new LGBTQ+ arts festival in Nottingham. This is a unique opportunity for an emerging producer to gain hands-on experience in festival production, working closely with the Creative Producer to bring this exciting event to life.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the arts and a keen interest in learning about LGBTQ+ communities and festivals. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the festival, liaising with venues and artists, and being an essential on-the-ground presence during the event.

Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support the delivery of Queer Up, Duck!. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a bold new festival that celebrates LGBTQ+ culture and creativity in Nottingham.

As Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with the Creative Producer to develop and execute the festival’s marketing strategy. Your role will include liaising with venues, artists, and media outlets, as well as being an essential on-the-ground presence during the festival dates.
